The Professional Diploma in Executive Coaching is a part-time programme taken over six months. The programme has two intakes per year: one in Autumn and one in Spring.

Programme Learning Outcomes for Professional Diploma in Executive Coaching (NFQ Level 9, Special Purpose Award)
On successful completion of this programme, students should be able to:
- Reflect critically on the value and effectiveness in the use of executive coaching processes to develop individual confidence and performance in the organisational context;
- Facilitate a transformative environment for learning and growth;
- Reflect critically on the benefits and challenges of integrating executive coaching practices into organisational development with the purpose of promoting high performance;
- Evaluate the importance and impact of professional boundaries, trust, confidentiality and ethical behaviour in the role of the executive coach;
- Develop a working understanding of human personality to enable an effective coaching relationship;
- Integrate 360 feedback in the effective executive coaching practice;
- Justify the practical limitations of coaching behaviour within an ethical framework;
- Demonstrate sufficient self-awareness and self-monitoring to create an effective coaching environment to serve the coachee with purpose and ethics.
