Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions' Education is an online programme. The programme runs over two academic years (eighteen months). There is no work placement element to the programme; however, students are expected to have access to teaching opportunities to allow completion of compulsory assignments.
All students will be registered for the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions' Education in the first instance and will be conferred with the Postgraduate Certificate upon passing modules to the value of 30 credits.
Progression to the MSc in Health Professions' Education (NFQ Level 9, Major Award)
Students who have successfully completed the Postgraduate Diploma will be conferred with the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions' Education and are eligible to progress to the MSc in Health Professions' Education.
A student who subsequently wishes to progress to the MSc must complete the programme within 3 academic years from the date of successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma Examinations and must have successfully completed MH6023.
