In addition to the general regulations for passing the year, students must pass LC2101.

Subject to having completed a total of 25 credits of ESOL in Years 1 and 2, students may spend either two semesters in an English-speaking country (study at partner institution and/or work placement), or one semester each in an English-speaking country and in a country of a second language studied in Years 1 and 2 (study at partner institutions or one semester study at partner institution and one semester work placement). All courses taken during Year 3 will be assessed by the approved Host University or Universities.

On successful completion of this programme, students should be able to:
