Overview
The MSc in Human Anatomy is a full-time program running over 12 months from the date of first registration for the program.
Students take taught modules to the value of 60 credits and complete a research dissertation (AN6010) to the value of 30 credits.
Exit award: Postgraduate Certificate in Human Anatomy (NFQ Level 9, Minor Award)
Students who successfully complete and pass taught modules to the value of 30 credits (AN6002 and AN6003) may opt to exit the program and be conferred with a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Anatomy. A student who subsequently applies to undertake either the Postgraduate Diploma or Master's program must do so within 5 years of successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate Examination.
Exit award: Postgraduate Diploma in Human Anatomy (NFQ Level 9, Major Award)
Students who successfully complete Part I (taught modules) to the value of 60 credits may opt not to progress to Part II (dissertation) and exit the program and be conferred with a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Anatomy. A student who subsequently applies to undertake the Master's program must do so within 5 years of successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma Examination.
