Overview
The Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions' Education is a part-time fully online programme running over one academic year (nine months) from the date of first registration for the programme. There is no work placement element to the programme; however, students are expected to have access to teaching opportunities to allow completion of compulsory assignments.
All students will be registered for the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions' Education in the first instance and will be conferred with the Postgraduate Certificate upon passing modules to the value of 30 credits.
Progression to the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions' Education (NFQ Level 9, Major Award)
A student who subsequently wishes to progress to the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions' Education must complete the programme within 3 academic years from the date of successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate Examinations.
